Lu Deng, Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Animal Science and Technology, Northwest A&F University, recipient of the National Excellent Youth Science Fund. Research focuses on the nutritional regulation mechanisms of hepatic gluconeogenesis in dairy cows. He has led provincial/ministerial-level projects, including National Natural Science Foundation General Projects, Youth Projects, Key R&D Program for 14th Five-Year Plan, Shaanxi Provincial Key Projects, and Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation. As first/corresponding author, he has published papers in journals including Cell Research, Molecular Cell, Genome Biology, Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy, Advanced Science, Redox Biology, Animal Nutrition, and Journal of Nutrition. He currently serves as Associate Editor for Modern Agriculture and Youth Editorial Board Member for Animal Research and One Health and Chinese Journal of Agricultural Science.
