Yanliang Bi, member of the Communist Party of China, holds a Ph.D in Animal Nutrition and Feed Science. He serves as a Research Fellow, doctoral supervisor, recipient of the National Natural Science Foundation of China’s Excellent Young Scientist Fund, and Distinguished Young Talent of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the Animal Nutrition Branch of the Chinese Society of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, Standing Council Member and Deputy Secretary-General of the Cattle Science Branch, Council Member of the Low-Carbon Feed Technology Committee of the Feed Industry Association, and Think Tank Expert of the Enthusiastic Gut Research institute. His primary research and extension work focuses on nutrition and health management of young ruminants, feed resource development, and efficient utilization. He has led over 10 national and provincial-level projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China’s Outstanding Young Scientist Fund, General Program, and sub-projects under the National Key R&D Program. In the past five years, he has published more than 30 papers as the first or corresponding author in journals such as Gut, iMeta, Microbiome, and Journal of Dairy Science. He has co-authored 7 books and serves on the editorial boards of iMeta, Animal Nutrition, Animal, and the Chinese Journal of Animal Nutrition.
