Yan Tu, Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor at the Feed Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), serves as a core expert in the Ruminant Feed Team of the Modern Agricultural Innovation Project. She holds the positions of Deputy Director and Academic Committee Member at the Beijing Key Laboratory of Dairy Nutrition. His research responsibilities include leading sub-projects under the National Support Program and public welfare industry science and technology initiatives. His research focuses on theoretical and practical production technologies in ruminant nutrition and feed science, with a particular focus on nutrient regulation theories for calves from birth to weaning; nutritional requirements and target control technologies for replacement heifers; development and utilization of roughage for ruminants; and research and development of rumen methane reduction technologies and products.
